Why we’re watching it

Tesla is building a production line designed for up to a million robots a year.
Reported ramp to several hundred units a week in August 2026.
Already in 2023, Gen 2 had 11-DoF hands with tactile sensing.

What bothers us

You can’t buy or reserve it. Public sales are targeted for the end of 2027, and Tesla’s timelines have slipped before.
The latest version (V3) hasn’t been shown; there is no official spec sheet.
